Bartending schools are the downfall of anyone wanting to be a bartending outside of just wanting or needing to spend money to get a bar job. I have personally gone through bartending schools before and it is all for the most part a waste of time, effort, gas, and cash. One can learn more on my Dallas bartending website than one can in the class room of any of these so-called bartending schools which are nothing less than online spammers that go way out of the way to attract unsuspecting participants where they claim hundreds of dollars will get them a bartending job or at the most where they will "place bartenders"... poppycock, except for some good looking girl in a sleazy bar.
These schools are for the most part designed by some slick salesman who has no other talent but latent bar talent, drummed up from days of drinking. The best way to learn bartending is to learn the recipes and to pick up spent liquor bottles, fill them with water, put a pour spout on them and measure ounces.
